Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs, well beaten
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
3 c. apples, peeled and chopped
1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Beat well at medium speed.
Mix dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture. Beat well again.
Add apples and nuts; mix well with spoon.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Let cool 15 to 20 minutes and remove cake from pan.
