White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
    1 lb. butter
    6 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. whiskey
    1 lb. cherries (red)
    1/2 lb. cherries (green)
    1 lb. mixed fruit
    1/2 lb. pineapple
    1/2 lb. coconut
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter and eggs.
    Add milk, vanilla and coconut. Add cut up fruit that has been soaking in 1/2 cup whiskey.
    Add cut up nuts.
    Sift flour and baking powder.
    Add to fruit mixture and mix by hand with wooden spoon until all is blended well.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in 4 aluminum bread pans that have been lined with wax paper.
