Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. butter
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla flavor
4 1/2 c. regular flour
Preparation

Mix sugar and butter.
Add eggs and other ingredients.
Chill before rolling.
Roll and cut with cookie cutter.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake in 450\u00b0 oven.
Let cookies stay in 450\u00b0 oven 1 minute and turn turn oven to 375\u00b0.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Nutmeg may be used instead of vanilla (about 1/2 teaspoon full).
