Date Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dates, cut and floured lightly
    1 c. pecans
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco or oleo
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Mix sugar and butter.
    Cream well.
    Add beaten egg whites. Fold in dates and nuts.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
