Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    chopped banana
    American cheese, cut in pieces
    chopped apple
Preparation
    Drain pineapple.
    Beat egg, sugar and flour together; add mixture with pineapple juice.
    Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens.
    Set aside to cool.
    Mix pineapple with chopped banana, cheese and apple.
    Mix with dressing mixture.
