Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 gal. tomato wedges
1 gal. onion wedges
1 qt. bell pepper wedges
6 c. sugar
2 tsp. turmeric
3 pt. vinegar
1/8 c. crushed red pepper
4 hot peppers
1/4 c. salt
4 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. pickling salt
1 1/3 tsp. turmeric
1 1/3 tsp. mustard seed
1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
-
Pour cold mixture over pickles.
Pack in jars.
Leave in refrigerator for 5 days before eating.
Will keep up to 9 months refrigerated.
