Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. summer squash, cooked until tender and drained well
    1 c. sour cream
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped (optional)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 c. buttered cornbread crumbs
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients, except cornbread crumbs.
    Line bottom of large greased casserole with 2 cups crumbs.
    Add squash mixture on top.
    Sprinkle with remaining 2 cups bread crumbs. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Toss bread crumbs with melted butter to coat well.
