Lemon Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. lemon peel
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add beaten eggs and lemon peel to creamed mixture.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk.
Fold in walnuts.
Pour into greased and floured bread pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool in pan 15 minutes.
Brush on Glaze.
