Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
    2/3 c. water
    2 tsp. soda
    1 2/3 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. gumdrops, cut up
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 2 loaf pans.
    Cream shortening and sugars.
    Add eggs, pumpkin and water.
    Add dry ingredients and blend well.
    Stir in nuts, etc.
    Bake 50 minutes or until done.
