Hawaiian Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 or 10 small sweet potatoes
    2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained (2 c.) or pineapple juice
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Use fresh sweet potatoes.
    Boil potatoes, cool and peel.
    Mix cornstarch, sugar, salt and water; cook about 10 minutes.
    Add margarine and pineapple to syrup.
    Pour over potatoes in baking dish, which have been sliced.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Freezes well, before cooking, if desired, to use later.
