Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 1/4 c. Karo syrup (dark)
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. coarsely broken pecans
Preparation
    Beat eggs (not too stiff) in bowl.
    Combine sugar and syrup; boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Pour into beaten eggs (small amount at a time; otherwise, eggs will curdle).
    Add butter, vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into uncooked pie shell.
    Cook in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 until set, approximately 45 minutes.
