Skillet Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon *
    3 carrots, peeled and sliced
    2 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
    1 medium cabbage, chopped
Preparation
    Lay 3 slices of bacon in the bottom of the skillet.
    Layer carrots, potatoes and cabbage over the bacon.
    Sprinkle with salt (optional).
    Add 1 cup of water.
    Cover and steam over slow heat for about 25 minutes.
