Eveready Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk (lukewarm)
    1/2 c. Crisco
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    5 c. all-purpose flour

    Note:
    This recipe divides very nicely to make half of it.
