Buttermilk Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
    Make a hole in flour mixture and into it put eggs (unbeaten), sugar and butter.
    Mix well.
    Add soda to buttermilk and add them and nutmeg to first mixture.
    Mix and roll out; cut with a doughnut cutter or form into desired shape.
    Fry in a heavy aluminum skillet, turning once until they are brown.
    Makes 2 dozen.
