Oyster Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. small oysters (with liquid)
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. water
dash of Tabasco sauce
2 1/3 c. nonfat milk powder
3 3/4 c. water
Preparation

Place oysters with liquid in medium saucepan. Combine flour, salt, Tabasco sauce and 2 tablespoons cold water.
Blend to a smooth paste and add to oysters. Simmer and stir over low heat about 5 minutes, just until edges of oysters begin to curl. Combine nonfat milk powder with remaining water.
Heat to scalding.
Do not allow to boil. Stir in oysters.
Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 15 minutes to blend flavors. Reheat stew to serving temperature.
