Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. Delicious apples, peeled and sliced
1 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
1/2 c. pecans, chopped (optional)
Preparation

Line buttered 8-inch baking dish with apple slices.
Sift dry ingredients together; work in egg with pastry blender until consistency of coarse meal.
Sprinkle over apple slices.
Drizzle melted butter over top.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
