Peggy Smith'S Cheesy Lemon Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Pillsbury lemon cake mix
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, melted
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 can lemon frosting
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Combine cake mix, butter and 1 egg; mix with fork until moist. Put into a 9 x 13-inch pan, greased on bottom only.
    Blend frosting into cream cheese.
    Reserve 1/2 cup of cheese and frosting mixture.
    Beat 3 to 5 minutes.
    Spread over cake mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool; spread with reserved frosting mixture.
