Strawberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. strawberries (fresh or frozen), cut into slices
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. + 2 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 1/4 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle the strawberries with a little of the sugar.
    Whisk the oil and eggs together just a little, then pour over strawberries and stir together.
    Combine and mix all the dry ingredients together except the nuts.
    Pour the strawberry mixture into the flour mixture and blend by hand thoroughly.
    Fold in the nuts, if desired.
    Pour into two 9 x 5-inch buttered and floured loaf pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Cool completely before serving.
    Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar and sliced.
