Robin'S Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head broccoli (chopped)
    1 small onion (chopped)
    1/2 stick butter
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 lb. american cheese
    2 c. milk
    2 T. cornstarch
    2 T. cold water
Preparation
    Add broccoli, onion, butter, broth to pan. Cook until broccoli is tender.
    Add milk and cheese.
    Cook on low until cheese is melted.
    Mix water and cornstarch, then add to soup. Stir until thickened.
    Serve warm.
