Sweet Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck seeded bell peppers (1/2 red and 1/2 green)
    8 medium onions
    6 Tbsp. salt
    2 1/2 qt. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grind peppers and onions.
    Add salt.
    Pour 2 quarts of boiling water over ground mixture.
    Let stand about 5 minutes; drain well. Add sugar and vinegar to ground mixture.
    Cook 20 minutes.
    Seal in jars.
