Easy Oriental Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. skinned, boned chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch chunks (1 1/2 ok)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 can pineapple chunks (optional, to taste)
Preparation
    Combine chicken, cornstarch, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and salt.
    Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
    Add mixture; cook for 3 minutes.
    Add brown sugar, vinegar and 1/4 c.
    water. Cover; simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often.
    Add pineapple to chicken mixture; continue cooking, uncovered, for 10 minutes more. Ready!
    Serves 4.
