Spoon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. corn meal
3 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs, separated
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Add corn meal to boiling salted water.
Wait until thick and add butter.
Beat egg yolks.
Add to milk, then stir into corn meal.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and baking powder.
Bake in buttered dish at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
