King Ranch Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    11 oz. skinned and boned boiled chicken
    1 (10 oz.) can green chilies
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, sliced
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    6 corn tortillas (6-inches each)
    1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. evaporated skimmed milk
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    3 oz. grated cheese
Preparation
    Spray 9 x 13-inch heat resistant glass pan with nonstick cooking spray.
    Cut tortillas into 8 pieces.
    Spread half of tortillas in pan.
    Add half the chicken, broken into bite size pieces.
    Repeat layers.
    Dissolve cornstarch in broth.
    Cook over medium heat.
    Add onion, tomatoes and chilies; add mushrooms (drained).
    Add milk.
    Cook about 5 minutes.
    Pour sauce over chicken and top with cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
