Cocoa Apple Cake(Tender And Keeps Well) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. chocolate bits
    2 apples, minced (without core)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Using a 10-inch cake pan, grease and flour the pan bottom. Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Beat together eggs, butter (or margarine), sugar and water.
    Sift together the flour, baking soda, allspice, cocoa and cinnamon; after mixed, sift dry ingredients into egg mixture while stirring.
    Mix well.
    Fold in nuts, chocolate, apples and vanilla.
    Pour into cake pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes, until top springs back if touched lightly.
