Ingredients

3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cans Angel Flake coconut
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time and beat after each.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to cream mixture alternately with milk and lemon juice.
Add coconut.
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 to 1 hour and 15 minutes or 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
