Cherry Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1/3 c. margarine or butter
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    6 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 jar maraschino cherries, chopped
Preparation
    Cream shortening and margarine.
    Add sugar.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla and almond extracts.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
    Add flour alternately with milk.
    Fold in 1/2 jar of cherries Bake in tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
