Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 pt. strawberries
    6 tsp. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin
    1 c. sugar
    1 pie shell
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and sugar; stir in 1 cup of water and cook until thickened.
    Add gelatin to mixture.
    Place fresh strawberries in cooked pie shell (better if the berries are cut in half).
    Pour mixture over them.
    Refrigerate.
    Serve with Cool Whip on top.
