Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium green tomatoes
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. corn meal
lemon pepper
Preparation

Slice tomatoes 1/4-inch thick.
Place on large platter and sprinkle well with lemon pepper.
Let stand 45 minutes at room temperature.
Drain off juice.
Roll tomatoes in flour and corn meal mixture.
Fry in iron skillet with about 1/4-inch grease at medium high heat until golden brown.
