Aunt Dot'S German Apple Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
3/4 c. Wesson oil
3 medium eggs
2 c. diced apples
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. dates
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Sift together first 7 ingredients.
Add next 2 ingredients. Mix well and add remaining ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
