Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Wesson oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. stewed prunes
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Mix oil and sugar together.
Add eggs, beating in one at a time.
Add dry ingredients, sifted together.
Add prunes, cut up in pieces.
Add nuts; fold in.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
