Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. Crisco
butter or sweet milk
Preparation

Mix in a little of the ingredients at a time to make a stiff dough, about the consistency of pizza dough. Roll out side of dough balls in flour and knead. Roll out dough to be thin. Cut in strips. Drop in simmering broth. Thicken broth with a little flour.
