Brown Sugar Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs, beaten well
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell
Preparation
    Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs and vanilla and beat thoroughly.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 5 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Turn heat down to 325\u00b0.
    Bake until middle of pie is firm, about 35 to 40 minutes.
    May use 1 cup chopped nuts on top of mixture before cooking.
