Mrs. Read'S Sourdough Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salad oil
    1/2 c. (approximately) canned milk
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. Sourdough Starter
Preparation
    Beat the egg white in bowl until stiff; set aside.
    In medium size bowl, put egg yolk.
    Add soda, salt, sugar, oil and milk; beat well.
    Add 2 cups of Sourdough Starter.
    As quickly as possible rapidly blend together.
    Take care not to break the bubbles now or later, as they are the leavening.
    Never beat or re-stir batter once it is complete.
    As soon as yolk mixture and Starter are blended, pour over egg whites, folding carefully to avoid breaking bubbles.
    Bake on hot greased grill.
