Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can onion soup
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1 medium green pepper, cut in 8 strips
Preparation
    Combine flour and seasonings.
    Pound into meat with a meat hammer.
    Brown meat in shortening; pour off fat.
    Add soup and ketchup.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 1 hour.
    Add green pepper and cook for 20 minutes, or until tender.
    Makes 4 servings.
