Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
6 egg yolks
2 sticks (1/2 lb.) soft butter or margarine
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
6 egg whites
Preparation

Cream together well the sugar, egg yolks and butter; add vanilla.
Sift together the flour, soda and salt.
Add flour mixture alternately with the sour cream, beating after each addition.
Beat egg whites separately until stiff and fold gently into batter.
Pour in a well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours or until cake tests done.
