Beef Kidney Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 pie crusts
2 lb. round steak
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cooking oil
6 Tbsp. butter
1 beef kidney
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. red cooking wine
1/4 c. pimiento
Preparation

Prepare pie crusts and refrigerate until ready to use.
Cut round steak into 2 x 1-inch strips.
Roll in 1/4 cup flour; shake off excess.
Brown in cooking oil and butter, turning with tongs until well done on all sides, about 25 minutes.
Brown only enough meat each time to cover bottom of skillet.
