Cherry Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 pkg. white cake mix
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
Preparation
    Melt 1/2 stick butter in pan.
    Spread pie filling in pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
    Mix together cake mix, nuts and 1 stick melted butter.
    Sprinkle over pie filling.
    Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
