Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
5 c. flour
3/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla, flour, salt and nuts to creamed mixture. Drop cookies on sheet pan and flatten with fork. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
Makes 5 dozen.
