Old Fashioned Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. navy beans
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 lb. salt pork or bacon, cut up
    5 c. water (approximately)
    1 onion, chopped
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Rinse beans.
    Soak overnight.
    Boil beans slowly until skin bursts.
    Drain beans; add pork (or bacon) and onion.
    Mix salt, molasses, sugar and mustard with 1 cup boiling water and pour over bean mixture.
    Then add approximately 4 cups boiling water (just enough to cover beans).
    Cover and bake on low for 4 to 6 hours.
