Chocolate Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    German chocolate cake mix
    14 oz. bag caramels
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Melt caramels with milk in double boiler.
    Prepare cake mix according to directions.
    Bake 1/2 of batter for 10 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan in a 350\u00b0 oven. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on cake.
    Pour caramel mixture on top of this; spread remaining cake batter on top.
    Bake 17 to 20 minutes.
