Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8-inch) sq. cubed or crumbled cornbread
6 c. or 12 slices soft bread cubes
1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. crushed sage
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2 diced apples
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 to 2 c. broth from chicken or turkey
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. scrap meat from chicken or turkey
Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Mix bread and seasonings together.
Saute celery, onion and apples in butter in large skillet.
Add to bread mixture along with broth, meat and eggs.
Toss until all moistened, if needed.
Add more broth or water, enough for 12 to 14 pound turkey or bake separately in a 350\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
