Healthy Potato Bacon Soup(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    nonstick cooking spray
    2 medium onions, chopped
    3 oz. Canadian bacon, chopped (1/2 c.)
    2 c. water
    4 medium potatoes, cubed (1 1/4 lb.)
    1 (12 oz.) evaporated skim milk
    1 1/2 oz. pkg. Butter Buds
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    nonfat sour cream (optional)
    green onion or chives, chopped
Preparation
    Spray 3-quart saucepan with nonstick spray. Add onions and bacon.
    Cook until tender. Stir in water and potatoes.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until potatoes are just tender.
    Using a fork, slightly mash some of the potatoes. Stir in evaporated milk, Butter Buds and pepper.
    Heat through. Do not boil.
