Cornbread Dressing(May Be Halved) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. regular cornmeal
1 c. plain flour
5 eggs
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. salt
black pepper to taste
1 tsp. soda
2 pt. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. (1 each sage, thyme)
1 c. chopped celery
hot turkey or chicken broth
boiled chicken parts
Preparation

In large bowl, put cornmeal.
Sift flour, soda and salt.
Add to cornmeal.
Add onion and beaten eggs.
Add enough buttermilk to make a soft but not thin batter.
Add celery.
Pour into large greased baking dish and bake 30 to 40 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Take out of oven; pour broth in while tearing dressing with potato masher. Add enough broth to make a very soft batter.
Add sage, thyme, black pepper and chicken parts, boiled, boned and chopped.
Pour into large greased baking dish.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
