Jeri'S Italian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. good quality beef roast (i.e., bottom round or rump roast)
    1 can Campbell's beef consomme
    1/2 can water
    1 small jar banana pepper rings (mild)
    1/2 juice from the peppers
Preparation
    Cut through the meat (but not completely) to let flavor cook through.
    Put everything into the crock-pot.
    When the meat is done, pull apart with roasting fork.
    Leave meat in the juices. Serve with slotted spoon onto sliced Avanti's or Kroger's sweet Italian bread.
