Milky Way Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 Milky Way candy bars
2 sticks margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Melt candy with 1 stick of margarine in double boiler.
Set aside.
Cream sugar with 1 stick of margarine.
Add eggs; beat until fluffy.
Combine flour, salt and soda.
Add buttermilk alternately with flour mixture.
Beat well after each.
Add nuts, vanilla and melted candy.
Pour into 10 or 12-inch greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or longer, if needed.
