Lois' Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. cooked chopped prunes
1/2 c. pecans
Preparation

Sift flour, salt and spices.
Combine prunes and nuts.
Beat sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla until light.
Add soda to buttermilk and add alternately with flour mixture to the creamed mixture. Fold in the prunes and nuts.
Bake in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
Pour Hot Prune Cake Glaze slowly on hot cake.
