Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter, softened
    1 c. sugar
    6 c. flour
    sugar or powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix butter, 1 cup sugar and flour, a little at a time.
    Pat in jelly roll pan.
    Roll with rolling pin until smooth.
    Then fork all over.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cut into bars right away, while hot.
    Sprinkle with sugar or powdered sugar.
    Set on rack to cool.
