Creole Style Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon, diced
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 (1 lb.) can peeled tomatoes
1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans, drained
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp; remove from skillet.
Add onion and green pepper to 3 tablespoons bacon drippings; cook until tender. Blend in flour, sugar and seasonings.
Add tomatoes; cook until thickened.
Add beans; heat thoroughly.
Garnish with bacon. Serves 6 to 8.
