Apple Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped unpeeled apples
Preparation
    Cut butter into sugar; add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Blend in vanilla and milk.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add nuts.
    Combine with first mixture.
    Stir in apples.
    Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan or 2 small loaf pans.
    Bake in slow oven (325\u00b0) for about 1 hour.
    Makes 1 large or 2 small loaves.
