Lemon Fluff Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 box or so crushed vanilla wafers
    1/2 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. white sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1/2 to 3/4 c. Cool Whip
    2 cans Thank You lemon pie filling
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    nuts
Preparation
    Place vanilla wafers, butter and white sugar in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    Spread cream cheese, confectioners sugar and 1/2 to 3/4 cup Cool Whip on top of wafer mixture.
    Add pie filling, then spread 8 ounces Cool Whip on top.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
